As well as being able to listen to Tory Radio through your browser and with your digital music device you can also listen by downloading the MP3 files to your computers. There are a number of easy ways to do this.
Downloading the MP3 to Your Computer
One of the easiest methods to listen to Tory Radio offline, but still at your computer, is to just download the MP3 file and listen to it in whatever software you like (iTunes, Windows Media Player, Real Player, VLC, etc, etc).
We offer all our podcasts as individual MP3 downloads. All you have to do is choose the Download MP3 option from a podcast entry on the website and save the file to your computer. This might also prove handy for getting MP3 files to transfer to your digital music device should you not have any compatible podcasting software.
Listening with iTunes
iTunes lets you listen to podcasts without being connected to the internet. You will need to be connected to get the podcasts, but once they are saved you can listen to them without using your internet connection.
The benefit of iTunes is that it works on both PC and Mac and also offers a podcast directory.
To get started with this you need a copy of iTunes, which you can get from the Apple website.
Under the 'Advanced' menu option choose the 'Subscribe to Podcast' option and paste the following podcast address into the prompt:
http://toryradio.podbus.com/
iTunes will scan the podcast and download the appropriate files for you. Once this has happened you can listen to the podcasts or transfer the files to your iPod.
