sitting in the imperial

Tagged:  •

I've just had a coffee in the Imperial Hotel - and nearlyspilt it when I saw the price they wanted to charge for an hours wifi! Luckily this is when the Vodafone datacard has its uses. Spent a great evening at a dinner with David Amess who was usual was on fine form. The East and West Midlands reception was also great and a certain Mr Cameron was introduced to me by my wife (no honestly - it wasn't the other way around). I have to say he was certainly looking fit and was on great form!

I did have to smile. I asked whether he would like to be interviewed by Tory Radio. He semmed to have heard of it and then quite rightly said hmmm yes, I'm a little busy this week.

The offer is always there. Wasn't it an advert for Martini - anytime, any place, anywhere.

See you in Blackpool!

The CDs have been packed. The car is full of diesel and I don't think I forgotten anything (even the photo ID for my pass - though I would have thought my face would do).

Remember - if you have anything you want to get off your chest, rant about, or just tell us what the best bit of Conference is so far, just call 0845 257 0 427. Leave your message after the tone (you will hear a message which says your call cannot be taken - and then a tone) and your opinions may make it into a Tory Radio podcast!
